Venice Beach is fondly known as the Sharks Tooth capital of the world. But don't worry the sharks teeth aren't fresh, they're prehistoric, millions of years old. Just look down, you may be lucky enough to find them, they are usually black or brown. The larger the tooth you find, the luckier you are.
With it's famous white sugar sand, Siesta Key Beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the country multiple times and the number 11 beach in the world! World class beach volleyball tournaments are also held here. Don't miss the chance to walk on this cool soft sand.
Caspersen Beach is known as a more rustic, natural beach. Walking along this beach gives you the feel of being on the outer banks with it's driftwood and occasional rockiness. It is a popular area to snorkle.
Nokomis Beach used to be known as the locals beach. Of course now that our area has been discovered, it has become popular for it's Saturday evening Drum Circle and it's 4th of July Fireworks.
Manasota Beach is off the beaten path. A quiet beach with soft sand, it is popular for sunbathing, fishing and watching the beautiful Florida sunsets.
Brohard Beach is in between Venice and Caspersen Beach. It is the only area beach that is officially a dog beach. Bring your pups out for a swim with their friends. There is even an area to wash your furry friends before they head home after a great day of fun.
Blind Pass Beach is a secluded beach with kayak launches and hiking trails. It is a nice spot to get away if you are looking for a quiet beach. It's also a great spot to go fishing or take a walk.
